As the only undefeated team remaining in the tournament, the Bears were assured of a spot in the championship game. But Exeter was their next step and they weren’t going to take this game lightly.The game was tied at 3-3 on Sunday when the rains came. The game was suspended at that point and picked up Monday afternoon.

The game remained tied until Boyertown used another big inning (five runs in the fifth) to pull away for a 10-6 victory.

After pitcher Bryar Eshbach gave up three runs on Sunday, Ryan Zakszeski then came on on Monday to pitch four scoreless innings. He allowed just two runs in the inning and improved his season record to 4-0.

The Bears were led offensively by Noel Saylor who two hits, three RBIs and a run scored. Todd Speilman had a pair of hits, three runs scored and one RBI, while Cody Kulp had two hits and one RBI.
